This is a clear or white intumescent coating system for upgrading doors and panelling to fire door status. Materials contained in each kit are enough to cover an area of 6m2 (according to the size of the door, enough material to cover three to four sides of single doors). Only the risk side needs to be coated on room doors and both sides on doors leading onto corridors or at the top of stairs. There is no need to remove any existing paints, varnish, or gold leaf. This product can be applied directly over all previous coatings after normal surface washing. Fire tests have been carried out on specific panels and doors. Ask an Envirograf® Representative to call and view the relevant door before ordering or application of product, in order to ensure that the treatment is appropriate for the type of door.

Please Check for your Building Control Approval before purchase.
We have been supplying our door upgrade products for many years and during this time we’ve been co-operating with Building Control Officers, and are widely recognised and approved. However we always recommend seeking approval for our systems by asking your local Building Control Officer (or relevant authority) first before purchasing and upgrading your doors to avoid any unnecessary problems with their approval.
IMPORTANT – You MUST ensure your door(s) meet our minimum requirements. Please get advice from our technical team before purchasing. Thank you
Because our coatings must be applied in a specific way in order to achieve the specified fire ratings, please make use of the downloadable data sheets available on the right-hand side of the page.
